Hair: Rayne's hair is long and brunette. It is normally straight and loose, with a yellow headband going across her head, but it doesn't pull her bangs back, it's more of a decoration. In some cases, she may cut it off to shoulder-length, but it grows back quite fast.

Facial Features: Her skin is somewhat of a pale pink, near peach color. Her eyes are normally a golden color, but her contacts are blue, as she refuses to wear her glasses. Her nose is small and delicate, much like her mouth, which is normally always in a tight line, due to her constant worrying.

Everything Else: She likes to wear ribbons, whatever the color. She has ribbons on her hair, on her shirt, wherever a ribbon can be placed properly she enjoys. Her favorite articles of clothing are loose, comfortable cardigans and short, flowy dresses.

Personality: Rayne is a somewhat happy girl. She enjoys the simple aspects of life, as she doesn't get to encounter many very often. She's a very smart, articulate girl who enjoys schoolwork and reading. However, at times she can be very analytical and too serious. Although most of the time she's whimsical and bubbly. She is very good at focusing her attention on the task at hand, and she doesn't mind putting her life on the line for a close friend.

Yet every person has their faults. Due to the fact she was bullied as a child, she uses her anger as a wall sometimes. Rayne is trademarked for her temper, and some have gone as far as to say she's bipolar, although she actually isn't. When her patience wears thin, she lashes out, and sometimes to people she doesn't even want to yell at. In nearly every case, she will end up crying and asking for forgiveness, but when she feels she doesn't need to apologize, she will become very stubborn and quiet.

History: Rayne was born on Valentines Day in Indianapolis. She was born into the arms of her mother, father, and brother. During her early childhood, the four packed up and moved to Chicago when her dad got a job offering there. She had yet to discover the abilities she posessed.

From the time she was about 6 until she was around 13, she attended a public school. Everything was going smoothly until rumors started to spread through the small school that her family were a bunch of superhuman freaks, as she was attending an all-human school at the time. Soon she began to get bullied, she would come home with bruised knees and bloody scrapes along her arms. To hide these, she wore a loose cardigan. Although she began to like the security the cardigan gave her, and it became one of her signature features.

One day, just weeks after her 13th birthday, she got into a major fight. It was her against three of the roughest, meanest girls in the entire school system. She, of course, was no match for them. She let her body go limp, and the three began the awful beating. At one point during the fight, she got this strange, warm sensation bubbling up inside her body. She looked down to see that the blood spilling from a gash was slowly healing the rest of her injuries. This was when she discovered she, too had superhuman abilities.

At 14, her family sent her to Alexander Academy so she could master the rest of her skills, and finally learn how to stand up for herself. From her freshman year through her junior year, so far she has managed to stay under the radar. Yet now she's determined to let her inner light shine and succeed in the difficult road ahead.

ABILITIES

Power: Medicinal Blood

Power Levels:

• MENDER -This heals injuries, such as cuts, broken bones, and illnesses. The downside is that the wound made on herself to retrieve the blood cannot be healed by such means and must heal on it's own. Size of the cut made on herself depends on the severity of the injury, which can lead to damaging her or knocking her out.
  
  
• LIFE BLOOD -By cutting open a vein or artery, she is able to give the blood to someone who is dying to revive them. Yet if the person is dying too fast, the process may be too late, although in most cases it works. The downside of this is that she cannot use it on herself, or on anyone more than once. Also, she becomes unconscious after doing this.
  
  
• LIFE GLOW -By singing the words: "Heal what has been hurt, Change the fates' design, Save what has been lost, Bring back what once was mine" She is able to make her body glow with a very bright, nearly blinding light. The downside is that if she is interrupted in the incantation, the ability cannot be completed.

RP Sample: Rayne stood at the window, her golden eyes peering through the glass, past the downpour, and out at the hazy horizon beyond that. She pushed a strand of hair from her face and turned away, rubbing at her bare arms. She scanned the room for a specific piece of clothing. A simple grey cardigan. She smiled as her hands gripped the material, pushing her arms into it and wrapping the cardigan around her small frame.

She sat on her twin bed and looked out the window and into the sky. "I can't believe my mom named me after that.." She muttered to herself, thinking about the rain. She could understand sometimes, but today just wasn't that kind of day. She thought back about the times she had cried in fear during a storm, begging her mom to change her name to Sunshine instead. Yet every time, her mother would remind her that because of rain, there was a rainbow. That was all she could think about to console herself. She pulled out the yellow ribbon headband and tossed it onto the chair at her vanity. She ran her fingers through her long hair and tugged at it, thinking.

She stood back up and went to her small bookshelf. She scanned the titles before tugging out an old book that she had read at least ten times. "Ah, my favorite." She said with a satisfied smile. There was nothing else she could do today, as her plans had been ruined by the rain. She stretched out on the windowsill and opened the book, settling in for the rest of the afternoon.
